GlobalVibe — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information GlobalVibe ("the app", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. GlobalVibe is operated by James Anthony Rodwell, an individual sole trader based in the United Kingdom.

By using GlobalVibe you agree to this policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

GlobalVibe is a social app. Content you post is generally visible to other users, including:

You can block any user (Settings → Blocked users) which prevents them from seeing your content and vice versa. You can also report content that breaks our rules.

5. Data retention and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the in-app Settings screen. Deleting your account removes your profile, posts, moods, photos, and personal information from our active database. Anonymised aggregate data (which cannot be tied back to you) may be retained for app analytics.

Posts and moods automatically expire after 3 days as part of GlobalVibe's "in-the-moment" design.

6. Where your data lives

Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers, primarily in the europe-west2 region (London). Firebase is operated by Google LLC and is compliant with major privacy frameworks including the UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and Apple's App Store privacy requirements.

7. Children

GlobalVibe is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We use industry-standard security measures (TLS in transit, Firebase Security Rules at rest, authentication via Firebase Auth). No system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
